As I sit home in the rain, I can't help but think how much I love my life. Although, I getting listeners tweeting me, emailing me and asking at events.. Why don't You or Vince get your own show?

Let me answer that once and for all, I am going to be VERY HONEST.

The Answer is: Been there, Done That!

I love hosting, being "talent" as it's called... But I have a job now that I really love. I love trying to make The Armstrong & Getty Show the best dam show in America. Because I have been "Talent" or "Talk Host," I can guess what they need.. I also can see what they are doing and how good they are at it.

I also don't have the pressure of having to come up with stuff to talk about for three or four hours a day. I love working with Jack and Joe. Remember I was producer for other hosts and I didn't enjoy it as much as I do working with them. I have to admit, sometimes they piss me off and sometimes I piss them off... But (and this is very inside radio talk here) "THEY GET IT!"

It's Show Business-- Show--- Business. Oh for for those of you who worry I might be fired for something I say on the air.. It hasn't happened yet. I did talk radio in Las Vegas, New York City, Denver, Texas, Birmingham and I never got fired for what I said on the air. I am still saying the same things. So I don't think it will happen.. I got fired for "other things". Jack and Joe joke about it but I know they have my back.

I think Jack and Joe can see that sometimes I want to add more to the show... And they let me.

Some hosts don't want anyone else to be Good on the air.. Or Funny... Or Popular... Jack and Joe PUSH Vince and I to be the best we can be.

Think about it, I can talk on the air any time I really want to and I have a lot less pressure.. Also DON'T FORGET THIS-- Jack and Joe, see what I have to offer and suggested I should do a weekend talk show or even a Podcast. Do you think Vince, Mike and I would be doing "5 After" without the support and blessing of Armstrong and Getty. We're a family and everything we do... The Videos, The Podcasts, The Blogs, The Stunts... ALL are for the ARMSTRONG AND GETTY PRODUCT.

Remember, I am on a WINNING team. The Show is a BIG HIT.. (I honestly don't know way Scott walked away from it, but I am thankful he did) We are the most listened to talk radio show in Northern California... I am on a show that is so good, I think we will be on in a lot more cities in the next few years and even if we're not... People listen on the web to us from all over the world.

We raised $250,000 for Fisher House in 5 days... A lot of Network Shows couldn't to that..

Plus YOU GUYS.. The A&G fans who have been nice enough to take me in.. I know some of you don't like what I say on the air--- But you understand it's from my heart and I am not trying to hurt anyone.

My Ego doesn't need The Dominick Brascia Show-- I have done that. It was fun.. This is better.

I am on a Hit. A Highly rated radio talk show. I am able to be as creative as I want... I am appreciated. Let me say that again... I am appreciated.

I did a show in Las Vegas, got great ratings, but the GM didn't like, understand or get me. Now I am part of a team. Even if Management doesn't like us.. WE LIKE US, AND THE SHOW WE ARE DOING IS THE SHOW WE WANT TO DO.

I don't want to leave Armstrong & Getty, they will have to pull me out kicking and screaming.

Okay, What do I want in the next five years...

I still want to be Producing The Armstrong and Getty Show... Anything else...

OKAY REMEMBER I SAID I WOULD BE HONEST; SO HERE IT COMES---

I would like to do more "Fill in" or "Guest Hosting". Some of you don't know this but I have Guest Hosted in the past on KFBK Radio. I do get the urge to do a show sometimes.

I would also like to keep doing "5 After" I really enjoy that. I would like to see Jack and Joe use more of the stuff that happens on the Podcast on the Morning show.

If I could have my wish--- Five years from now, I would still be doing A&G as Producer. I would be doing some "Guest Hosting"

....AND, I don't think this can happen... Or will happen, but it's my right to dream...

On some stations, After The Armstrong & Getty Show, I would like to see the "5 After" podcast air, live, for one hour, as a regular broadcast radio show. 

There you go! No "hidden agenda". No secret plans or sending out tapes to other stations looking for a Hosting Job... You wanted it... There it is..

After my Mom & Dad died.. I learned Something... Life is short.. Try to like what you're doing... Be kind to people.. There is No Need to Lie Anymore..

I am 90% honest with the people who listen to the show.. For my own safety and personal reasons, I do keep a little to myself. I hope you you understand that..

Some of you will understand this--- Others Won't---

I have learned I don't have to be "Captain Kirk" or even "Mr. Spock"... I am very happy being... "Dr. McCoy" or "Scotty"... Dam at least, I'm on the USS ENTERPRISE! Others aren't so lucky.

I am really thankful for the Armstrong & Getty show and the whole crew that makes it happen.

I appreciate all that goes into the process of making my favorite radio program of all time since I began listening to talk radio in 1988, most of which I am completely and purposefully unaware.

I appreciate the podcast so that I can make sure not to miss a minute of the show.

I appreciate streaming the show live on iHeartRadio so that I can hear a superior sound instead of the "dialed back"* transmission in the morning hours (*not to be confused with short bus type of "dialed back").

I appreciate the occasional witty remarks from Dominick and Vince whose voices I welcome as they sprinkle their participation in ways that only add to the uniqueness and entertain ability of The A&G Show.

I appreciate Marshall's mastery of the understatement and Michael's opening monologue and how he deals gracefully with the misfortunes of technology in the Bowels of the Clear Channel Communications Compound.

I appreciate the "bad cop" in Jack when he humorously goes off the rails about something he cannot stand, like iPhone updates or clerks who don't speak English or cars that inexplicably lock themselves while being refueled.

I appreciate the "good cop" in Joe as he approaches every subject with integrity and fairness which only adds credibility to his compelling arguments, references to Senate Pro Tem Steinberg as a political whore notwithstanding. ;-)

I appreciate the heads up when y'all are going on vacation so that I can anticipate your return.

I appreciate the 5 After podcast which I began listening to for a peek behind the scenes at the goings on in making my favorite show but that I keep listening to because I find the personal stories and interactions of the crew to be strangely fascinating.

Keep up the great work and I am beyond hopeful that there will be good news regarding your shows future in the weeks to come.
